A final strike against Independence Air
I flew Independence Air last month (Chicago to Greensboro), and it was a pleasant experience. Their people seemed to enjoy their work. That’s always fun to see. They gave me a mint, I saved that mint (photo coming soon). If I can hold on to that mint until June of 2007, it will last longer than the airline it came from. Not that that would be a major accomplishment in my life, but for the mint’s life, well, heck.
Anyway, Independence Air is dead. Thursday’s their last day. I wonder what it’s going to be like for their passengers on these final three days — if any of you out there get that experience, tell me about it.
