Once this happened we completely fell through the cracks. As far as Southwest was concerned, we were off the grid entirely. Our one day, direct flight turned into a three day layover nightmare. It then indicated he had landed and we went to baggage claim to meet him. we then received a call that he was in seattle not portland, the airline offered no apologies and told him you're on your own. my husband and I then started driving from Portland to seattle a 200 mile trip that took 9 HOURS! we then spent the night in a motel spending our christmas money. Now today the 21st we have spent all day trying to get back home. I understand no one can control the weather and others are also being inconvienced. but southwest has basically shrugged their shoulders and said tuff luck.
