Travelled Virgin Atlantic from JFK to Heathrow. My flight was loaded well before the scheduled departure time. We then waited for an hour so they could transfer people arriving early for the next flight because they had overbooked it. This delay was followed by another 3 hours taxi to the runway before take off
The end result was missing onward flight connections in the UK, and additional cost to me of over £250.
Guess what Virgin Atlantic’s response was to my claim for reimbursement. Go fish!!

Booked Upper Class through Virgin Atlantic 7 months ago. That inclued them organising the domestic connections.
found out today my connection back on 6th October between Sydney and Adelaide has been stuffed up
four hous today with both Airlines include a call to the UK bth airlines blame each other wont talk to each other to fix it!
guess whos holiday is wreaked before it starts
